Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative approach to mental health treatment that differs from traditional therapy. At Mindful Infusions, we use KAP to address several treatment-resistant conditions like depression, PTSD, anxiety, and more.
The differentiating factor in KAP is using ketamine to accentuate and enhance therapeutic sessions. Likewise, psychotherapy can enhance the positive effects of your ketamine experience. We administer the treatment sublingually (troche) or intramuscularly, depending on the patient.
Our therapists will help you work through your thoughts, emotions, and processes to maximize the amount of good this treatment can do.
When working with our ketamine-certified psychotherapists, you’re entering an environment designed for healing and wholeness. We’ve tailored the interior design, background music, and more to encourage integration from past trauma.
You can expect personalized attention from our psychotherapist and ketamine therapy staff during the entire KAP experience. Walking through 3 stages of the restorative process, we’ll ease you into KAP for a calming approach to addressing mental health.

Ibrahim – LCSW
Ibrahim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Utah, having received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work from the University of Utah. He has received his training and certification in ketamine and psychedelic medicine through the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI). It is Ibrahim’s belief that together you can engage in your healing process and self-exploration beyond anxiety, depression, and trauma using ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). The KAP process begins with preparation sessions to develop intentions for your work and healthy self-care practices that will promote your wellness before, throughout, and after your work with the medicine.
You will then work towards understanding and integrating powerful or challenging psychedelic experiences using integration sessions in the time between your ketamine sessions. Ibrahim’s practice focuses on the use of ketamine as one of the tools to access the inner-healing wisdom that we all possess. His role is to walk with you through that process while you learn to listen to the wisdom and strength you possess within.
He approaches therapy from a holistic wellness perspective that builds on the foundation and understanding that we are physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social beings. The KAP process is about restoring connection to self, community, nature, and spirit. Ibrahim utilizes a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness, somatic experiencing, breathwork, inner child work (IFS), as well as trauma-informed modalities such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help identify and build on your innate strengths. Ibrahim believes that through the therapeutic relationship, self-care, and self-compassion practices, you can begin to return to a place of unconditional love and acceptance of yourself.
In his free time, Ibrahim loves to be outside in nature and enjoys exploring new places. He enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, reading, and playing guitar. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family. He is passionate about being able to practice psychotherapy in conjunction with ketamine because of the powerful healing potential that comes when you combine the two. Ibrahim believes we each deserve to feel empowerment and joy in our lives and to be able to fully experience our inner world and the world around us. This is your time to connect with your authentic self, find shifts in perspective, face your challenges, laugh, grow, and heal. This is what he hopes to foster through his work with you.
